No. Fandaq uses virtual currency (FanBucks) only. No real money can be deposited, wagered, won, or lost. It's a market game of skill.
What am I actually trading?
Shares of real players and teams across eight leagues (NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, Premier League, La Liga, Champions League, and IPL cricket). Each asset has one live market price, just like a stock.
How do prices work?
Two forces set every price. Trading moves it instant by instant — buying pushes the price up, selling pushes it down, and bigger orders move it more. Underneath, each asset has a fair value computed from real performance data, and the market price steadily drifts toward it over time.
What is "fair value"?
A performance-driven estimate of what the asset should be worth, built from real stats like win rate, scoring margin, and production indexes. It's drawn right on every price chart, and the "Why this price" panel breaks down exactly what goes into it.
How do I start and how do I earn FanBucks?
Every account starts with ƒ1,000. You grow it the only honest way — buying low and selling high. Sell a position for more than you paid and the profit is yours.
What do the leaderboard rankings mean?
Traders are ranked by net worth: cash plus the live market value of every position. Realized profit and win streaks are shown alongside.
Do prices change when games are played?
Yes — performance data feeds fair value, and fair value pulls the market price. A strong stretch of games lifts an asset even if nobody trades it.
Can I sell whenever I want?
Yes. The exchange always quotes a price, so you can close any position at any time at the live market price. Selling moves the price down the same way buying moves it up.
